Do I need to do a GVC Course if I have a PfCO?

There is not a requirement for you to do a GVC course if you have a current PfCO, however, you will need to do a GVC course by 1st January 2024

If you hold a current PfCO in 2021 (you haven't let it expire!) you do not currently need to do a GVC course to renew your permissions, however, you will need to update your Operations Manual to reflect the new changes to the regulations.

You can find a guide to updating your Operations Manual here >>> https://blog.uavhub.com/updating-your-operations-manual-for-new-the-2021-drone-regulations

When you renew your permissions, you will get an Operational Authorisation from the CAA.

Please note: All remote pilots listed within the Operations Manual must have done a General VLOS Certificate (GVC) course by 1st January 2024.
