Do you need your own drone for the practical exam?
You will need your own drone for the practical examination, however, you wont need one prior to attending the Theory course.
You will need to bring your own drone for the practical examination, however, you won't need a drone prior to attending the theory course.
The reason you have to have your own is so you can practice on a drone you are comfortable with and (generally) are intending to use for your own commercial purposes.
If you don't know which drone you would like to use, please contact a member of the team on 0800 033 4400 and we'll be happy to help.
