What's the minimum age a drone pilot can be, to take their A2 Theory Exam and get their A2 C of C?
The A2 Subcategory now allows much younger people to operate drones, provided they are supervised by an appropriately aged person... But there are a few things you need to know first.
There is no minimum age for a person to become a Remote Pilot and to take the A2 CofC examination.
However, anyone under the age of 18 who operates a drone in the UK MUST be supervised by an adult aged 18+. This adult is known in Aviation Law as the 'UAS Operator' and that person must be aware of the responsibilities associated with this (don't worry, it's no-where near as bad as it sounds! :) You can find out more about what 'UAS Operator' means, HERE ).
