I haven't got a Flyer ID because I'm a member of the BMFA, do I need a Flyer ID to do the A2 CofC
Yes, the exemption for FPV UK members to not hold a Flyer ID has now expired and you require a Flyer ID to do the A2 CofC examination
BMFA members are now required to get a Flyer ID from the CAA if the aircraft you are flying is over 250g. You will need a Flyer ID regardless if you want to do the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) course.
It is FREE to get a Flyer ID from the CAA. You can get the Flyer ID by following this link here >>> https://register-drones.caa.co.uk/
